Another Best has opened, this one in California.

The proprietor, Norman Bates, operated the property for years as an idependent.

"The motel's been in my family for generations.  Ever since they opened the freeway and bypassed us, we've needed some help with exposure," Norman states.  "Our ADR and occupancy has been horrendous since 1961."

The intimate property is single story, has hot showers, and features one-way viewers.  Room service is also available.

"We reach out to the female traveler," Norman adds.
