Just before Cheech takes a nap, she makes sure all of her feathers are in order.  As soon as she wakes up, she makes sure all of her feathers are in order.  Then, she'll eat, play, be bratty, and then make sure all of her feathers are in order.

Below, a picture of Cheech outside, on the sundeck of her weekend condo.  Here, she enjoys the morning sun, but warily keeps as eye open for puddy cats, other birds, butterflies, and March AFB jets.
